5 Thing about Apples

Here are 5 things about Apples. Got this from 2day's "Mind your body" which is section in Straits Times.

1. Apples are fat, sodium and cholesterol free

2. A medium apple contains about 80 calories

3. They are a great source of the fibre pectin. One Apple has 5g of fibre.

4. 25% of an apple's volume is air. That's why apples float.

5. Dont peel your apple. 2/3(two-thirds) of the fibre and lots of antioxidants are found in the peel.

Now, eating apples can be very healthy but too much of everything is not good i believe. Always take a balance diet and keep a healthy life style!
